What we offer

The FAB provides an authentic French cultural and social experience.

Library

Our library presents a collection of approximately 25,000 French books, including contemporary fiction, literary criticism, biography, and history. Our children's library offers more than 1000 picture and story books for those under twelve. We also have a large Marcel Carné archive.

French language education

Speaking French is not a requirement for membership at the FAB. Our Education Department offers a wide variety of French classes as well as pedagogical workshops for teachers taught by our native French-speaking faculty. More about our language offerings

Cultural events

• Art exhibitions: exhibitions change monthly and are free and open to the public.
• Cooking classes, wine tastings, and cooking demonstrations by some of Boston's finest chefs.
• Music programs feature local and international musicians performing a variety of repertoire:

• Lectures and panel discussions (in French and in English) explore:
